Dear Valued Customers,
It comes with real sadness that we announce the upcoming closure of The SunShine Co. Edgware, which will officially close its doors on 12th November 2025.
This decision has not been taken lightly and comes as a result of circumstances outside of our control. Unfortunately, ongoing and unresolved matters with the landlord have made it impossible for us to continue trading from the current premises, despite our best efforts to find a resolution and remain in Edgware.
We want to take this opportunity to thank our incredible Edgware team and all of our loyal customers who have supported us over the years. Your loyalty and positivity have meant the world to us, and we’re truly sorry to be saying goodbye to this branch.
All existing customer accounts and remaining minutes can be used at any of our nearby salons. If you need any assistance, please contact our team at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.

How do I get to the SunShine Co. in Edgware?
You’ll find us at 181–183 Station Road, Edgware, HA8 7JX, just a 3 minute walk from Edgware Tube Station (Northern Line) and right near the Broadwalk Shopping Centre. We’re easy to reach whether you’re coming by train, bus, car, or on foot.
If you’re taking the bus, several routes stop nearby, including the 79, 113, 186, 221, 240, 251, 292, 303, and N113, connecting Edgware to surrounding areas.
We’re open until 9 pm during the week and 7 pm on weekends as per our winter opening times, so you can pop in for a quick session whenever it suits you.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes, there are several options nearby with Broadwalk Shopping Centre Car Park, which has 1,100 spaces and free parking for up to 1.5 hours.
Additional on-street parking may be available on Station Road and surrounding streets.
Please note that some car parks may have time limits and/or require payment. We are not responsible for any parking fines or issues related to these facilities.
Do I need to book a session in advance?
No appointment is necessary, just pop in during our opening hours and we’ll fit you in!
What amenities does the salon have?
At our front desk, you can grab disposable eye protection stickers for your session. You can also buy tanning accelerator creams as single sachets or bottles to save on multiple sessions. We have a waiting area, clean toilet, a lock on the doors when in use and mirrors for your convenience.
All sunbeds are cleaned and maintained by our staff before and after each use. If you have any questions, just ask our friendly team, we’re here to help!
Which types of sunbeds do you have at Edgware?
We have both lay down and stand-up sunbeds at our Edgware salon, each equipped with features like Bluetooth, air conditioning, and easy-to-use controls.

Do you offer different tanning packages?
We offer flexible tanning packages to suit all budgets. You can pay as you go and purchase sessions on the day, or save in the long run by pre-purchasing one of our tanning courses, giving you a lower cost per minute and more value for your money.

Can you walk me through what to expect when I visit?
When you arrive, simply check in with our friendly staff at the front desk. They’ll find your online account and ask how many minutes you’d like to tan and which type of sunbed you prefer.
Then, you’ll be allocated to a private room where you’ll have 5 minutes to get ready. When you’re ready, press the red button on the wall to start your session. Our team is always around if you need any help.
What should I wear during a tanning session?
What you wear is totally up to you. Some people prefer to tan in their underwear, others use towels to cover certain areas and some choose to tan nude.

Can I bring a friend with me?
Yes, friends are very welcome! We have multiple sunbed rooms available, so you can tan at the same time.

Felt after 14 years of being a customer it’s time to review. Sharon the very best shop manager you can find friendly helpful and always lovely. The shop is spotless and beds always clean. Sadly MiMi and Nessa left they were too so kind and friendly but replaced by Anna and Charlie Highly Recommended sunshine and co Edgware. Pop I see what offers they have time to time. Absolutely love the staff here been going there for 20 odd years now and Sharon the manager always friendly and knowledgeable about times and creams and everything and don't no what sarah Smith is on about as so called devil woman is absolutely lovely and have never seen her be anything but polite to everybody and I am english and never felt language barrier an issue so find that rather rude
