How do I get to the SunShine Co. in Basingstoke?
You’ll find us at Unit 4, Brighton Hill Shopping Centre, RG22 4EH, right next to the Asda Superstore. We’re just a 9-minute drive from Basingstoke Railway Station and easy to reach whether you’re coming by car, bus, or on foot.
If you’re coming by bus, Stagecoach South services such as the 1 and 12 stop right at Brighton Hill Shopping Centre, bringing you within a minute’s walk of our door.
We’re open until 10pm during the week 9pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday, so you can pop in and grab a quick session after work or whenever suits you.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes, Brighton Hill Shopping Centre offers free parking for up to 2 hours (Monday to Saturday 7 am – 10 pm and Sunday 10 am – 4 pm), including accessible spaces near the salon.
Additionally, the Asda’s car park is just across from the salon, which can potentially be used at your discretion.
Please note that some car parks may have time limits and/or require payment. We are not responsible for any parking fines or issues related to these facilities.
Do I need to book a session in advance?
No appointment is necessary, just pop in during our opening hours and we’ll fit you in!
What amenities does the salon have?
At our front desk, you can grab disposable eye protection stickers for your session. You can also buy tanning accelerator creams as single sachets or bottles to save on multiple sessions. We have a waiting area, clean toilet, a lock on the doors when in use and mirrors for your convenience.
All sunbeds are cleaned and maintained by our staff before and after each use. If you have any questions, just ask our friendly team, we’re here to help!
Which types of sunbeds do you have at Basingstoke?
We have both lay down and stand-up sunbeds at our Basingstoke salon, each equipped with features like Bluetooth, air conditioning, and easy-to-use controls.

Do you offer different tanning packages?
We offer flexible tanning packages to suit all budgets. You can pay as you go and purchase sessions on the day, or save in the long run by pre-purchasing one of our tanning courses, giving you a lower cost per minute and more value for your money.

Can you walk me through what to expect when I visit?
When you arrive, simply check in with our friendly staff at the front desk. They’ll find your online account and ask how many minutes you’d like to tan and which type of sunbed you prefer.
Then, you’ll be allocated to a private room where you’ll have 5 minutes to get ready. When you’re ready, press the red button on the wall to start your session. Our team is always around if you need any help.
What should I wear during a tanning session?
What you wear is totally up to you. Some people prefer to tan in their underwear, others use towels to cover certain areas and some choose to tan nude.

Yes, friends are very welcome! We have multiple sunbed rooms available, so you can tan at the same time.
