How do I get to the SunShine Co. in Chatham?
You’ll find us at 168 High Street, ME4 4AS, right in the centre of Chatham’s bustling High Street. We’re just a 5 minute walk from Chatham Train Station and a 2 minute stroll from the Pentagon Shopping Centre, making it easy to reach us whether you’re heading in from Rochester, Gillingham, or commuting from London.
If you’re coming by bus, the Chatham Waterfront Bus Station is right next to the Pentagon, with plenty of routes including the 1, 2, 3A/3C, 100, 101, 113, 116, 120, 124, 132, 133, 135 and more, all bringing you within minutes of our door.
We’re open until 8pm on weekdays and 7pm on Saturdays and 6pm on Sundays, so you can easily fit in a quick tanning session after work, after shopping, or whenever works for you.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes, there are several public parking options nearby. The Pentagon Shopping Centre’s rooftop car park is just a 2 minute walk from the salon and is open 24 hours a day, perfect for short visits, with prices starting from just 70p for up to 30 minutes.
There’s also additional on-street parking available around the High Street and surrounding areas, depending on the time of day.

Do I need to book a session in advance?
No appointment is necessary, just pop in during our opening hours and we’ll fit you in!
What amenities does the salon have?
At our front desk, you can grab disposable eye protection stickers for your session. You can also buy tanning accelerator creams as single sachets or bottles to save on multiple sessions. We have a waiting area, clean toilet, a lock on the doors when in use and mirrors for your convenience.
All sunbeds are cleaned and maintained by our staff before and after each use. If you have any questions, just ask our friendly team, we’re here to help!
Which types of sunbeds do you have at Chatham?
We have both lay down and stand-up sunbeds at our Chatham salon, each equipped with features like Bluetooth, air conditioning, and easy-to-use controls.

Do you offer different tanning packages?
We offer flexible tanning packages to suit all budgets. You can pay as you go and purchase sessions on the day, or save in the long run by pre-purchasing one of our tanning courses, giving you a lower cost per minute and more value for your money.

Can you walk me through what to expect when I visit?
When you arrive, simply check in with our friendly staff at the front desk. They’ll find your online account and ask how many minutes you’d like to tan and which type of sunbed you prefer.
Then, you’ll be allocated to a private room where you’ll have 5 minutes to get ready. When you’re ready, press the red button on the wall to start your session. Our team is always around if you need any help.
What should I wear during a tanning session?
What you wear is totally up to you. Some people prefer to tan in their underwear, others use towels to cover certain areas and some choose to tan nude.

Can I bring a friend with me?
Yes, friends are very welcome! We have multiple sunbed rooms available, so you can tan at the same time.

Easily the best sunbeds I’ve ever used! The beds themselves are amazing and bulbs are changed regularly.. I love that the stand-up beds have a fitness plate in them! The salon is modern and clean, the rooms spacious. The staff are approachable, friendly and always happy to give advice/ answer any questions. Would highly recommend to everyone!
MegaSun Tanning in Chatham is always immaculate, very clean sunbeds! Staff are always polite and welcoming. Also - great, reasonable prices! I definitely notice a difference with my tan after every sunbed use! I highly recommend MegaSun for topping up your tan! :-)

Literally the nicest sunbed shop. Have been trying various shops for years but finally found Megasun. So clean and modern. The sun beds are spacious and immaculate and the staff are so friendly. Sometimes you can feel intimidated walking in to some of these shops but it’s such a nice atmosphere in there. Honestly would recommend to anyone who uses sun beds!
