How do I get to the SunShine Co. in Chingford?
You’ll find us at 52 Old Church Road, Chingford, London E4 8DB, conveniently served by several local bus routes. Routes 97, 215, and N26 stop nearby, providing easy connections from Walthamstow, Stratford, Leyton, and surrounding areas.
If you prefer to drive, the salon is about a 9-minute drive from Chingford Railway Station, which connects to London Liverpool Street.
We’re open until 9 pm during the week and 7 pm on weekends as per our winter opening times, so you can pop in for a quick session whenever it suits you.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes, there are a few convenient options close by. Hall Lane Car Park at 13 Hall Lane, E4 8LG offers free parking after 5 pm on weekdays. Some on-street parking is also be available nearby.
Please note that some car parks may have time limits and/or require payment. We are not responsible for any parking fines or issues related to these facilities.
Do I need to book a session in advance?
No appointment is necessary, just pop in during our opening hours and we’ll fit you in!
What amenities does the salon have?
At our front desk, you can grab disposable eye protection stickers for your session. You can also buy tanning accelerator creams as single sachets or bottles to save on multiple sessions. We have a waiting area, clean toilet, a lock on the doors when in use and mirrors for your convenience.
All sunbeds are cleaned and maintained by our staff before and after each use. If you have any questions, just ask our friendly team, we’re here to help!
Which types of sunbeds do you have at Chingford?
We have both lay down and stand-up sunbeds at our Chingford salon, each equipped with features like Bluetooth, air conditioning, and easy-to-use controls.

Do you offer different tanning packages?
We offer flexible tanning packages to suit all budgets. You can pay as you go and purchase sessions on the day, or save in the long run by pre-purchasing one of our tanning courses, giving you a lower cost per minute and more value for your money.
Prices for our Chingford sunbed shop start from 88p a minute.
Can you walk me through what to expect when I visit?
When you arrive, simply check in with our friendly staff at the front desk. They’ll find your online account and ask how many minutes you’d like to tan and which type of sunbed you prefer.
Then, you’ll be allocated to a private room where you’ll have 5 minutes to get ready. When you’re ready, press the red button on the wall to start your session. Our team is always around if you need any help.
What should I wear during a tanning session?
What you wear is totally up to you. Some people prefer to tan in their underwear, others use towels to cover certain areas and some choose to tan nude.

Yes, friends are very welcome! We have multiple sunbed rooms available, so you can tan at the same time.

I have been going to this salon for the past 12 years. I absolutely love this salon and the ladies they talk to you and always smile when you walk through the door. I won't use another salon apart from theirs. Always get the right information to get the right tan. It's a fantastic atmosphere always clean what more can I say really. Just a great place to go when you have had a rubbish day relax on the bed and get the tan you have always wanted. So if you want to have a great tan and feel fabulous about yourself this is the place to go.
Clean and safe and tidy rooms and salon I rate this place I've been going there for years and I've never had any problems staff are very kind and helpful and the beds are nice and fullt powered and air conditioning is nice and cool definitely recommed
