How do I get to the SunShine Co. in Dover?
You’ll find us at Unit 5c, Saint James Retail Park, Dover, CT16 1QD, right in the heart of the shopping centre. We’re just a 10 minute walk from Dover Priory Railway Station and a 5 minute walk from Dover Bus Station, which has regular services connecting the town with Canterbury, Folkestone, Deal, and Sandwich.
We’re open until 9 pm during the week and 7 pm on weekends as per our winter opening times, so you can pop in for a quick session whenever it suits you.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes, parking is available right at St James Retail Park. The car park offers 445 spaces, including accessible parking, and is open 24/7 for your convenience. The first hour is free (ticket required), making it an easy and affordable option when visiting the salon.
Please note that some car parks may have time limits and/or require payment. We are not responsible for any parking fines or issues related to these facilities.
Do I need to book a session in advance?
No appointment is necessary, just pop in during our opening hours and we’ll fit you in!
What amenities does the salon have?
At our front desk, you can grab disposable eye protection stickers for your session. You can also buy tanning accelerator creams as single sachets or bottles to save on multiple sessions. We have a waiting area, clean toilet, a lock on the doors when in use and mirrors for your convenience.
All sunbeds are cleaned and maintained by our staff before and after each use. If you have any questions, just ask our friendly team, we’re here to help!
Which types of sunbeds do you have at Dover?
We have both lay down and stand-up sunbeds at our Dover salon, each equipped with features like Bluetooth, air conditioning, and easy-to-use controls.
If you’re looking for something more advanced, our P9 megaSun beds include extra features such as a light show, sound system, and wireless charging for a more enhanced tanning experience.

Do you offer different tanning packages?
We offer flexible tanning packages to suit all budgets. You can pay as you go and purchase sessions on the day, or save in the long run by pre-purchasing one of our tanning courses, giving you a lower cost per minute and more value for your money.

Can you walk me through what to expect when I visit?
When you arrive, simply check in with our friendly staff at the front desk. They’ll find your online account and ask how many minutes you’d like to tan and which type of sunbed you prefer.
Then, you’ll be allocated to a private room where you’ll have 5 minutes to get ready. When you’re ready, press the red button on the wall to start your session. Our team is always around if you need any help.
What should I wear during a tanning session?
What you wear is totally up to you. Some people prefer to tan in their underwear, others use towels to cover certain areas and some choose to tan nude.

Can I bring a friend with me?
Yes, friends are very welcome! We have multiple sunbed rooms available, so you can tan at the same time.

A very very good quality sun bed shop...everytime I have visited never had any problems...service is top and the equipment is in perfect condition..never see any bulbs out or faulty ones...slightly expensive but worth but you pay for what you get...highly recommended.
