How do I get to the SunShine Co. in Hoddesdon?
You’ll find us at 6 The Pavilion, High Street, Hoddesdon, EN11 8UD, right by the shopping centre. We’re easy to reach whether you’re coming by bus, car, or on foot.
If you’re taking the bus, several routes stop nearby, including the 25, 310, and 907, connecting Hoddesdon to surrounding towns and local areas.
For train travel, the salon is around a 20 minute walk from Rye House Railway Station, which provides Greater Anglia services to London Liverpool Street and Hertford East.
We’re open until 10pm during the week, 9pm on Saturdays and 7pm on Sundays, so you can pop in and grab a quick session after work or whenever suits you.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes, there are several parking options nearby. The salon is located next to The Pavilion Shopping Centre car park, which has accessible spaces and convenient access by Amwell Street.
Other options include on-street parking in the surrounding area.
Please note that some car parks may have time limits and/or require payment. We are not responsible for any parking fines or issues related to these facilities.
Do I need to book a session in advance?
No appointment is necessary, just pop in during our opening hours and we’ll fit you in!
What amenities does the salon have?
At our front desk, you can grab disposable eye protection stickers for your session. You can also buy tanning accelerator creams as single sachets or bottles to save on multiple sessions. We have a waiting area, clean toilet, a lock on the doors when in use and mirrors for your convenience.
All sunbeds are cleaned and maintained by our staff before and after each use. If you have any questions, just ask our friendly team, we’re here to help!

We have both lay down and stand-up sunbeds at our Hoddesdon salon, each equipped with features like Bluetooth, air conditioning, and easy-to-use controls.

Can you walk me through what to expect when I visit?
When you arrive, simply check in with our friendly staff at the front desk. They’ll find your online account and ask how many minutes you’d like to tan and which type of sunbed you prefer.
Then, you’ll be allocated to a private room where you’ll have 5 minutes to get ready. When you’re ready, press the red button on the wall to start your session. Our team is always around if you need any help.
What should I wear during a tanning session?
What you wear is totally up to you. Some people prefer to tan in their underwear, others use towels to cover certain areas and some choose to tan nude.

Yes, friends are very welcome! We have multiple sunbed rooms available, so you can tan at the same time.
